Ryan is a self-taught oil painter who has pursued painting as a personal practice for nearly a decade. Alongside a long-standing enjoyment of creative pursuits, Ryan has been drawn to logical and analytical thinking, a dual interest that has shaped both his studies and career path. This balance is reflected in an early engagement with design through A-level Product Design, followed by an academic background in Economics and Finance and a career in finance in London.

 

While working in the financial sector, Ryan continued to develop his artistic style, maintaining painting as a vital creative outlet. Over years of experimentation, Ryan has established a process built around multiple layers of thin oil paint, creating artwork with depth and a smooth, blended finish. Ryan's subject matter ranges from landscapes and animals to still life.
