Painting had been an occasional distraction from work until moving house in 2016. More space, beautiful countryside and wanting a better work-life balance with two young children spurred me on to try to make the career change from analyst to artist.

 

I started in acrylics, painting a range of subjects from landscapes and botanical to figures and cars. These days I paint exclusively in oils, their richness and flexibility helping in my aim to create the atmospheric paintings I strive for.
