I have been a member of TAG for many years and, in addition, also exhibit regularly with Surrey Hills Artists at Denbies and am a member of the Epsom and Ewell Art Group.

 

I love our countryside and frequently paint Surrey landscapes, particularly in the Surrey Hills area. This links with my work as  a volunteer with the Campaign to Protect Rural England , Surrey Branch.

 

My preference is for landscapes - foreign scenes inspired by travel, as well as more local subjects. I find both dramatic lighting and bright colours exiting. Originally a watercolourist and pastel painter, I now use more acrylics and mixed media.
