I was born and raised in Cornwall, and my love of the coast, light, and open horizons finds it way into my art. By trade I work in window and door repairs. It’s all hands-on and takes a creative mind to solve the many problems I need to fix.

I’ve painted and drawn for as long as I can remember, often alongside my sister, Angela Annesley, a full-time artist who continually inspired and encouraged me; although she sadly passed away last year, her spirit and creative energy live on in my work. I paint mainly in acrylics, carve the odd wood or lino cut, and love to experiment whenever I get the chance. 

With two wonderful kids and a hard-working wife, I know how lucky I am to have time for my passion—usually balanced with a bit of mountain biking and time outdoors, that helps me find my way and have ideas for my art.
