Since taking my Art O Level many years ago, I hadn't picked up a pencil.  However, due to the boredom of lockdown, I started to rekindle my love of art, initially with graphite pencil but quickly progressing to coloured pencils.  I particularly like working with pencils as I have a great love of detail.

 

I am a member of the Association of Animal Artists and the UK Colour Pencil Society and have appeared  in their publications and exhibitions.  My work has also been featured in Leisure Painter magazine and the US publication 'CP Hidden Treasures'.  I had the honour of being selected to exhibit my work at Patchings Art Festival in Nottingham for the Artist and Leisure Painter Open.

 

I am also a member of the Epsom and Ewell Art Group and exhibit with them regularly.

 

As well as producing my own work, I also accept commissions of pets, humans and anything else! 10% of my commission fees go to my favourite charities, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and Havens Hospices in Essex.

 

I am now trying to branch out by learning other mediums, to see if I can achieve a looser approach to my artwork.
