"I have drawn and painted ever since I can remember. My talent was first recognized when, aged five, I was given a classroom to myself to produce a picture of The Monument in London, only for it to emerge as a painting of cowboys and Indians.I am pretty much self-taught and self learnt. I draw my inspiration from many sources: the countryside, travel, people, and the work of other artists. I work predominantly in the water-based mediums of watercolour and acrylic, but also oil. My subjects cover landscape, cityscape, figure work, genre and portraiture."
